The listings will have all of the pertinent information, pictures, tours, community information as well as mortgage calculators etc.,. Before beginning your home hunting in earnest, it’s important to secure home loan pre-approval from a reputable residential mortgage lender. Most sellers will not accept an offer unless the offer is accompanied by a buyer pre-approval letter. Although a standard purchase agreement allows the buyer up to 3 days after acceptance by the Seller to provide that pre-approval letter, many Sellers are reluctant to accept an offer unless the pre-approval is included with the offer. The pre-approval takes the guess work out by giving the buyer assurance that they know they can get a home loan and how much they can afford. It also gives the buyer immediate flexibility to put in a offer immediately once they find the property they want to buy.
